About Aussie Campfire Kitchens
Meet the Makers
The Morana Family
Aussie Campfire Kitchens is proudly owned and operated by the Morana family in Far North Queensland. What started as Tony's passion for quality outdoor cooking gear has grown into a family business dedicated to crafting Australian-made cooking gear that lasts.
Tony Morana – Master Fabricator & Founder
With over 30 years of trade experience, Tony is the heart and hands behind every piece of ACK gear. Working from our Queensland workshop, Tony hand-fabricates each fire pit, grill, plate, and cooking system with the precision and pride that only comes from decades of mastering steel. Each piece is made with purpose because he knows this gear will be passed down through the family.
The ACK Family Team
Mum, Tarryn, does everything apart from fabrication.
Baylee is the eldest ACK fabricator and a paramedic.
Cooper is an apprentice electrician who works weekends in the ACK shed, cutting and fabricating.
Oliver is our very first ACK apprentice boilermaker, now in his third year.
And lastly, the smallest of the family, Willow, lives his best life doing delivery runs on the way to footy training, and sometimes helping in the saw area or with the workshop broom.
ACK gear is built by our family for yours. We work side by side in our FNQ workshop, sharing Tony's obsession with quality and his commitment to craftsmanship. We're not a factory line. We're a small family business that takes pride in every unique build that leaves our hands.
Our Workshop – Far North Queensland
In Far North Queensland, our workshop is where raw Australian steel is transformed into heirloom-quality cooking gear. This is where we weld, grind, and finish every piece by hand. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just honest Australian craftsmanship.
Why We Build This Way
We believe in the anti-throwaway philosophy. In a world of cheap imports that warp, rust, and end up in landfill after a few seasons, we build gear you can pass down to your kids. Buy once, use forever.
