The Aussie Campfire Kitchens Folding BBQ is handcrafted in Australia from heavy-duty mild steel. Designed for cooking directly over a fire or hot coals, it delivers dependable cooking performance whether you’re camping in the bush, fishing by the river, spending the day at the beach or cooking around your backyard fire pit.

This is no lightweight, throwaway camping BBQ. Its solid steel construction provides excellent stability and heat retention while standing up to the intense heat of real campfires.

When you’re finished cooking, the heavy-duty legs fold flat underneath for easy transport and storage.

Choose Your Cooking Surface

Full Hotplate

The Full Hotplate provides a generous 600mm × 300mm solid cooking surface.

Made from 6mm mild steel, it retains and distributes heat beautifully for cooking steaks, bacon, eggs, pancakes, onions, vegetables and complete camp breakfasts.

Weighs approximately 13kg, giving it the strength and thermal mass needed for serious outdoor cooking.

Full Grill

Perfect for anyone who loves traditional flame-grilled cooking.

The entire 600mm × 300mm cooking surface is fabricated from solid 8mm round bar, allowing heat, flames and smoky campfire flavour to reach your food.

Ideal for steaks, sausages, chops, chicken, seafood and vegetables. At approximately 8kg, it is the lightest of the three styles.

Half Hotplate / Half Grill

Can’t decide? Enjoy the best of both.

One side features solid 8mm round-bar grill bars for flame-grilling, while the other has a 6mm mild-steel hotplate for eggs, bacon, onions and other foods that need a flat cooking surface.

Cook sausages or steaks over the grill while preparing breakfast or sides on the hotplate all at the same time.

Before First Use

The Folding BBQ is supplied as uncoated mild steel and must be cleaned and seasoned before cooking.

After each use, allow it to cool, clean it thoroughly and dry it completely. Apply a light coating of cooking oil to the steel to help protect it from surface rust during storage.
